"Human bodies have a remarkable ability to heal themselves. The nervous system carries all information about body function both to and from the brain and facilitates all actions (including healing) that occur in the body. Chiropractors use specific spinal adjustments to ensure the nervous system is free of interference. This allows the body to function at its maximum ability. In short, chiropractors check the nervous system to make sure the brain can send and receive the correct signals. This correct communication helps the body to heal itself naturally."
"My personal results sold the profession for me. I've become a full-fledged believer in what chiropractic care is capable of accomplishing and I am eager to help others experience its benefits." |

Dr. Adam's Story Dr. Adam Renelt was raised and attended school in Rosholt, SD. After high school, he attended the University of South Dakota and earned a Bachelor of Science degree. Dr. Adam then attended the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. He graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2007 and entered into private practice. While at Palmer, Dr. Adam attended over 200 hours of training in the Gonstead system of chiropractic. In his free time he enjoys sports, reading, meeting new people and getting involved at church and in the community. Dr. Adam's Chiropractic Story: I had never been adjusted until I was injured in a high school football game my junior year. I decided to go to a chiropractor, who happened to be my cousin. Within two adjustments I was feeling much better and I was able to play in the next game. After enjoying my chiropractic experience I did some research and became interested in chiropractic as a career. While at college I received chiropractic adjustments on a regular basis and noticed that the lactose intolerance that I had suffered from since birth was soon gone. Chiropractic has been an extremely positive influence in my life and I am excited to be able to offer the same benefits to the people of Sioux Falls, no matter what their age. Testimonials to Dr. Adam's care--> Dr. Ashley Willow grew up in Pennsylvania and attended Ursinus College where she received a Bachelor's degree in Biology. Following her undergraduate studies, Dr. Ashley attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa where she focused on the Gonstead system of chiropractic and graduated Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Ashley enjoys playing volleyball, swimming, scrapbooking, and baking in her spare time. Dr. Ashley's Chiropractic Story: I have an uncle who is a chiropractor, so I knew roughly what chiropractic was about growing up. However, I never took advantage of the health and well-being that chiropractic had to offer. While training for volleyball my freshman year of college I ended up with such severe back pain that I literally could not move if I layed down. I assumed I had overdone the training, but was sent for x-rays by the medical staff on campus. When the results came back, I sent them to my uncle for his opinion and started receiving chiropractic care with good results. My body would tell me when it was time for another adjustment and I was generally able to stay a few steps ahead of the pain. After experiencing the benefit myself, I gained more respect for the profession and found myself looking into it. After starting Palmer I scheduled appointments on a regular basis, and after time noticed that I hadn't gotten any colds and that my allergies were all but gone. My personal results sold the profession for me. I've become a full-fledged believer in what chiropractic care is capable of accomplishing and I am eager to help others experience its benefits.
